Free Eye Camp Held at Sefra Guwar; 400 Patients Examined, 28 Selected for Cataract Surgery

Sefra Guwar: A free eye care and medical camp was organised at Sefra Guwar village under the aegis of Lions Club Shrimadhopur and Sahay Hospital, Jaipur, in memory of Late Shri Banshidhar Bansal and Late Shri Pushkar Lal Bansal.
The camp received an enthusiastic response from residents of Sefra Guwar and neighbouring villages, with around 400 patients undergoing free eye examinations and medical consultations. Spectacles were distributed free of cost to patients with visual impairment.

During the camp, 28 patients were identified for cataract surgery and taken to Jaipur for further treatment. Their surgery, transportation, accommodation, and meals are being provided completely free of cost with the support of Sahay Eye Hospital, Jaipur.

Renowned gastroenterologist Dr. Naresh Bansal, Delhi, was specially present at the camp and personally examined nearly 100 patients, providing medical consultation and appropriate treatment.

Dr. Dinesh Chaudhary, Medical Officer at the Primary Health Centre, Sefra Guwar, extended valuable medical and technical support for the successful conduct of the camp.

The key inspiration behind the charitable initiative was Mrs. Chandrakanta Bansal.

Among those present were Lions Club Shrimadhopur President Sitaram Saini, Shambhu Ji Saini, Sagar Mal Halwai, social worker Daulat Ram Ji Goyal and Shambhu Ji Agrawal. Local representatives Gram Sarpanch Vijay Singh Shekhawat, Raju Khanna and Guman Singh Shekhawat also attended the programme.

The organisers concluded the camp by expressing their gratitude to the doctors, Lions Club members, local representatives, volunteers, and all those who contributed to making the initiative a success.
